Country cutie Kendall Gary has a new song, new video and one positive message. “Head Held High” is about staying positive when the naysayers start talking.
If you don’t know Gary’s name yet, she’s a singer-songwriter from Texas and she’s been singing since she was four. It wasn’t just a hobby for her, though. She took it seriously even at a young age and booked lessons with a classically trained opera singer. She wasn’t always into country because she spent the first nine years of her live traveling. Gary experimented with different genres and sound but eventually found her place in country.
“Head Held High” is Gary’s current single and it has a positive message for anyone with a few haters. “‘Cause I’ve been there, I’ve done that, I know what it’s like. / Been in your shoes, yeah, just tell them to take a hike. / They know nothing about ya so keep your head held high,” she sings. The new video shows the country singer rocking boho chic threads, walking and singing down a paved road in the country.
