Keb’ Mo’ has the perfect song for all of us that need a little extra help getting in the holiday spirit. The song is “Christmas is Annoying” and it’s from his first-ever holiday album, Moonlight, Mistletoe & You. The anti-Christmas song is a standout from the 10-track album that also includes holiday classics.
To go with the song, Keb’ Mo’ released a fun, tongue-in-cheek music video. In the visual, he plays the role of a child who just loves Christmas. He sings, “When I was a child, Everything was magical, I believed in Santa Claus, It really was fantastical.” Meanwhile, two kids play the role of adults who don’t exactly feel the same. They exclaim, “Christmas is annoying!”
The video was shot and directed by Andrew Rozario.
