Have you ever dreamed of going on vacation with Jon Bon Jovi? Now is your chance thanks to the Runaway to Paradise cruises!
The Grammy Award-winning superstar has curated two special fan cruise experiences that will give fans the vacation of their dreams. Each cruise travels to a different location, depending on what fits your travel desire. The Caribbean trip sails from April 12 to April 16 from Miami to Nassau on the Norwegian Jade. The Mediterranean cruise happens Aug. 26 through Aug. 30 from Barcelona to Palma, Majorca on the Norwegian Pearl.
“Ever since we started Runaway Tours, it’s given me such joy to entertain the fans and tell them the stories of where my songs came from,” Bon Jovi says. “What I’ve realized after all these years is that they’ve found not only my stories, but their own. Hundreds of people have gotten together every time we take off for a destination and long-lasting friendships are born. We want to continue that tradition in Runaway’s fully-immersive vacation trips. Get ready, we’ll see you out there!”
Runaway Tours and Sixthman co-produced the tours that include two Bon Jovi experiences on two different nights. He’ll join guests to perform a full rock show of his hits and other favorites on the pool deck. There, he’ll be backed by the 11-piece Kings of Suburbia band. The other show will be an acoustic storyteller set where fans can ask questions.
“We couldn’t be more excited to curate the biggest and most immersive Jon Bon Jovi experience to date,” says Runaway Tours creator (and Jon Bon Jovi’s brother) Matt Bongiovi. “Whether you’re celebrating the love of the music, a special milestone or planning the ultimate girls getaway you’ve put off for way too long, the Runaway to Paradise cruises will create memories that last a lifetime. We are doing a deep dive into everything Jon Bon Jovi like never seen before!”
If Bon Jovi wasn’t enough to coerce fans, Collective Soul will also be there. They’ll perform their hits like “Shine,” “The World I Know” and “December.” There will also be a meet and greet fan session. Grace Potter will hold it down for females on the cruise. She’ll perform and will get to know guests in a fan-based activity. Beth Thornton, British pop artist, and Slipper When Wet, a Bon Jovi tribute band, will also perform along with DJs. More acts will be announced soon.
The Runaway to Paradise cruises will also include a special fan-voted band competition, Runaway to Play. Details of that are coming soon. There will also be panels with people from Bon Jovi’s history including his longtime engineer, photographer and more. There’s more than just music, though. Guests can also get up close with historic rock memorabilia in the Bon Jovi gallery. A Hart n Dagger pop up shop will be there as well as The JBJ Soul Kitchen.
