Joe Denim Set to Host New Monthly Variety Show, ‘Blue Dizzy’

“Blue Dizzy will offer an 'only in Nashville' interactive experience, fueled by music, people and libations."

There’s a new monthly variety show in town! Joe Denim will host Blue Dizzy, a music and comedy show that happens at Wildhorse Saloon.

Blue Dizzy is an immersive entertainment experience that’ll send you back to the days of supper clubs. Denim will host the evenings that include both music and comedy but he won’t be handling the show alone. He’ll have special guest performances. Attendees can look forward to barstool gossip, lots of laughs and even the chance to break out your best moves on the dance floor at the Wildhorse.

“The Wildhorse is an iconic venue steeped in Nashville’s rich music history,” said Brian Schafer, general manager of Wildhorse Saloon. “As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are committed to invigorating our fan base with this fresh take on entertainment while cultivating and welcoming a new generation of fans.”

The show kicks off March 19 at 6:30 PM and the monthly series runs through November. The March 19 lineup includes Kalie Shorr, Jerrod Niemann, American Young and Lewis Brice. All of the artists will play with the house band, led by Denim on keys. The band also includes Dave Fowler (Dolly Parton/Tracy Lawrence) on bass, Mica Roberts (Toby Keith) and Marti Slayton (George Strait) on background vocals, Gregg Lohman (Easton Corbin) on drums and Rich Eckhardt (Toby Keith) and Alex Gallagher (Charlie Worsham) on guitar.

Blue Dizzy will offer an ‘only in Nashville’ interactive experience, fueled by music, people and libations,” Denim explains. “Fans will get to see the artists and performers in a different light than at a typical show and that light shines from Blue Dizzy.”

Tickets for the show are $28 for reserved table seating and $20 for general admission. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the CMA Foundation. If you’re driving to the monthly show, take advantage of the discounted ($15 flat rate) parking at the garage located at 210 Commerce St.
