Jimmy Wayne is making his acting debut just in time for the holidays. He’ll appear in a new Lifetime movie titled, Every Other Holiday.
Wayne is a country singer, New York Times bestselling author and a child advocate. Now, he can add professional actor his already impressive resume.
“This is the first movie I’ve had more than a cameo appearance,” Wayne explains.
Every Other Holiday is the story of recently separated parents Tracie (Schuyler Fisk) and Rick (David Clayton Rogers). They spend every other holiday with their young daughters, Harper and Ava. This year, the girls have different ideas for the holiday. The only thing on their Christmas list is to spend Christmas with both their parents at Tracie’s family farmhouse. The reunion won’t be easy but will it be enough to help them rekindle their romance and make their daughters have the best Christmas ever?
In the Lifetime movie, Wayne plays Brent, a potential love interest of the lead female character, Tracie.
Every Other Holiday was directed by Blair Hayes and also stars Dee Wallace, Glenn Morshower and Abby James Witherspoon. It was produced by Kristofer McNeeley, Marybeth Sprows, Stacia Crawford and George Flanigen.
“I was very nervous but working with professionals like Glenn Morshower, Dee Wallace, Schuyler Fisk and David Clayton Rogers made it a comfortable experience,” he says “I can’t wait to see it! Viewing party anyone?”
Every Other Holiday premieres on Nov. 23 on Lifetime. Check your local listing for exact times.
