You know Jason Derulo as an R&B / pop superstar (and as Luke Bryan‘s collaboration partner). You may not know he has his own clothing line.
Derulo collaborated with designer Antonio Brown for the brand, LVL XIII (Level Thirteen), and now they have a partnership with Bloomingdale’s. It’s a pretty big venture for the “Talk Dirty” singer but it’s been a long time coming. He’s always loved clothes. Derulo opened up to The Daily Front Row about his passion for fashion.
“Everything that I get into is because I have a passion for it,” he tells the website. “I’m someone who loves high fashion and I’m a customer in that area. For me, it’s not easy to find a mixture of sexy and upscale with a little street edge and that’s what I’ve done. Myself and Antonio [Brown] have a similar style. Putting this together, we had in mind what was missing from today’s fashion and what tomorrow’s fashion should be like. We wanted to bring to the table what’s never been done before.”
Together they created LVL XIII and the partnership with Bloomingdale’s launches in less than two weeks. Although you can’t see much on their site yet, they do have an Instagram account with a sneak peek.
