After 25 years of bringing the best throwback party to Music City, Nashville’s longest-running tribute band, Guilty Pleasures, is taking a well-earned final bow. Over the next year, the beloved band will begin its farewell countdown, planning a string of epic performances packed with surprises, nostalgia, and celebration.
The final shows will also tie into another major milestone, the 35th anniversary of 3rd & Lindsley, a longtime home for Guilty Pleasures and one of our most iconic venues. Expect the farewell run to be unforgettable, with surprise guest artists, new merch, and afterparties at established local venues. Fans can count on the group going out the way they came in: with a full-on party.
“Spending 25 years as one of Nashville’s most popular party bands means a lot to us, and we plan to honor that legacy,” band member Tommy Keenum says. “Every chapter eventually closes, and we feel grateful for the chance to show love and appreciation to our fans, to each other, and to everyone in the Guilty family as we celebrate this milestone. We want our final shows to serve as a love letter to all of you. Let’s go out with a bang!”
As part of the 25th-anniversary celebration, Penumbra Entertainment is producing a feature-length documentary chronicling the band’s journey. The film will include never-before-seen footage, live performances, and candid interviews with both the band and their loyal fans.
To help bring the story to life, producers Mark Mosrie and Chris Hollo are calling on fans to contribute through the “Guilty Pleasures Confessional,” a video booth that will be set up at every show. Fans are encouraged to stop by, share their best GP memories, and maybe even land a spot in the film.
And that’s not the only fan-centric project in the works. A 25th Anniversary Memory Book is also in development. Fans, venues, and media outlets are invited to submit their stories, photos, and video clips to gpscrapbook@gmail.com to be considered for inclusion.
