Executive Chef of Gray and Dudley, Rob Newton, will host another guest chef dinner on April 3. This time, it’s with Jason Neroni of Rose Cafe and Superba Snack Bar in Venice Beach, CA.
On April 3, they’ll start serving the special menu at 5:30 PM. It pairs Newton’s southern sensibilities with Neroni’s chic, globally influenced SoCal inspired cuisine. Dishes range in price from $12 to $17 and they’ll be offered á la carte in addition to Gray & Dudley’s regular menu.
This special menu will include smoked pigs head pastrami with fermented pickles and black garlic toast. Grilled avocado, pozole verde vinaigrette and escabeche of kumquats with coraline endive and avocado leaf oil is also on the menu. They’ll also have bone marrow flan with amaro prunes, cultured creme fraiche, kohlrabi kraut, onion compote, crispy capers and savory waffle.
This is the restaurant’s third installment of an ongoing series. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 615-610-6460. Gray and Dudley is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner with late-night dining available at the bar. All of their other menus are available on their website here.
