Grand Ole Opry Announces Exclusive Dolly Parton Exhibit

The Grand Ole Opry will host a special Dolly Parton exhibit to celebrate the country music icon’s 50th Opry anniversary. It starts Sept. 3 and runs through Oct. 31.

The exhibit will include 24 wardrobe pieces she’s worn on the Opry and at the Ryman over the last 50 years. The dress she wore on the evening of her Opry induction back in 1969 will be on display as will the gown she wore on a duet with Vince Gill on her song “I Will Always Love You” in 1995. The ensemble she wore during a surprise Opry appearance to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Reba McEntire‘s Opry debut in 2017 will also be featured.

This special exhibit in the Opry House’s Studio A will also include exclusive video of Parton reminiscing over her favorite Opry memories.

Tickets for the Dolly: My Opry Memories exhibit are just $12 when guests add them on to the purchase of an Opry backstage tour. Exhibit-only tickets are also available for $17. Packages go on sale today (Aug. 21) at 10 AM on the Opry’s website.

The Opry has previously announced they’ll celebrate her anniversary with Dolly Week.
