The Grand Hyatt Nashville isn’t open yet but it’s already expected to be one of the hottest hotel openings of 2020. The property is being built by the world-renowned design firm, HKS, and is being labeled “A Premier Downtown Hotel, Inspired by Music City’s History.”
The Grand Hyatt Nashville is hoping to be an “elegant gateway to downtown” when it opens. It will be located on the corner of 10th Avenue and Broadway, just outside of the busiest strip of Broadway but close enough to the action. When it opens, it will also be the second-largest conference hotel in the city. That’s one reason it fits so nicely near Union Station and the Frist Art Museum.
The architecture of the forthcoming hotel is described as a mix of both elegant and timeless. They used both stone-based and glass-light materials. It also has a mix of public areas and event spaces.
The Grand Hyatt is the first phase of Nashville Yards, a multi-phase, 15-acre mixed-use development. They hope to bring new life to downtown. The Grand Hyatt Nashville opens in the fall of 2020.
