The music video for Fergie’s new single, “You Already Know” featuring Nicki Minaj, is here and it can simply be described as fierce.
Eight-time Grammy winner Fergie dropped the black and white video today and it’s a complete experience. The video was directed by Brazilian artist, Bruno Ilogti, along with creative director Giovanni Bianco. It features Fergie with a whole lot of swag. Whether she’s wearing the black and white suit or donning a leather bodysuit, it’s all sexy.
Fergie plays ping pong and giant chess against herself, dances in fast motion and eventually reveals Minaj. The 34-year-old raps in a sexy white bodycon dress and a suit (minus the jacket) and, judging by the visual, Minaj has been giving Fergie twerking tips. The two are quite the pair and we’re loving their collaboration.
Whether you love the song or don’t, it’s an artistic vision you must watch.
“You Already Know” is a track from Double Dutchess, Fergie’s forthcoming sophomore studio album. Although it’s a new song, it may sound familiar. That’s because it samples “Think (About It),” a song that James Brown penned and Lyn Collins performed. Fergie’s pal, will.i.am, produced this particular track, though and it’s a complete jam.
Double Dutchess drops on Sept. 22 via her own label Dutchess Music/BMG but it’s available for pre-order now.
Watch the visual for “You Already Know” above. Don’t be alarmed if you break out in dance.
