Cody Hibbard’s “Armed & Dangerous” is the singer’s newest release. It’s an upbeat, catchy country track with a rockin’ edge. It’s a story told from a heartbroken man’s perspective after a woman loves him — and leaves him. “You should be on this town’s most wanted,” he sings in the infectious chorus.
“Armed and Dangerous is my new single that I wrote with Jordan Walker (“When it Rains It Pours”). It was produced by Grady Saxman at Saxman Studios in Nashville, Tennessee and it was an absolute blast to watch come to life. ‘A&D’ really brings out my rock roots that I grew up on and I can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”
Hibbard’s love for country music started when he’d hear it playing while riding around on his dad’s tractor as a kid. Eventually, he picked up a guitar and then started to write songs. He released his first single, “Half Whiskey, Half Lonely,” last year and started touring and supporting artists including Sundance Head.
Despite a crazy year, Hibbard was excited to share this new song with fans who are sure to love it. The song’s lively beat and catchy lyrics make it an instant favorite.
