Celebrate Pride Month with a Collaborative Art Show

Daybreak Arts and QUILT (Queers United In Liberating Tennessee) are thrilled to announce a collaborative Pride Month Art Show, set to open on Sunday, June 30th from 2-4 PM at Daybreak Arts. This unique and inclusive exhibition will showcase the diverse and creative talents of unhoused and working class LGBTQ+ artists from across the city, celebrating the spirit of Pride through art.

• Exhibition Opening: Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 2-4PM

• Venue: Daybreak Arts, 1207 Dickerson Pike Nashville, TN 37207

• Featuring: Daybreak Artists and QUILT Artists

• Admission: Free

• Other Details: Mask required and provided.

This collaborative Pride Month Art Show will feature a wide variety of artwork including paintings, fiber art, digital art, and mixed media. This exhibition aims to highlight the unique creativity, perspectives, and experiences of historically excluded LGBTQ+ artists in our community.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with QUILT for this special event,” said Nicole Minyard, Executive Director of Daybreak Arts. “Through this exhibition, we hope to celebrate our identities, honor our histories, and envision a future where everyone is free to be themselves. We hope this exhibition will inspire all who attend.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the Daybreak and QUILT artists, learn about their creative processes, and explore the themes that inspire their work. The Pride Month Art Show is open to the public, and all are welcome to join in the celebration.
