Other People Fund's Music for Free Therapy Writer's Round

Nashville locals and visitors alike are invited to celebrate live music and mental health at JBJ’s Nashville on January 13. The downtown bar will host a free benefit songwriter showcase in support of Other People Fund, a Nashville-based nonprofit clothing brand dedicated to making therapy more accessible.

Founded by East Nashville local Elena Kilgore, Other People Fund works alongside her nonprofit, Support for the Psyche, to raise money for therapy sessions for individuals in need across the U.S. Since launching in 2021, the organizations have helped fund more than 1,230 therapy sessions, with Kilgore personally reviewing applications and connecting people with care.

The night will feature live performances from Kimberly Kelly, Clark Hill, Magnolia Rising, and Carrie Brockwell. Listen to music while you enjoy JBJ’s full bar and menu, test your luck at their raffle with curated gift baskets, and purchase exclusive Other People Fund merchandise to support the cause. Guests will also have the opportunity to learn more about the nonprofit’s mission and make a donation. The event is presented in partnership with JBJ’s Nashville and My PR Lab.
