Over the weekend, singer-songwriter Eric Van Houten played a socially-distanced show at Nashville’s famed Listening Room Cafe. He brought along some friends for the acoustic writer’s round style show — and one big surprise.
Although the music lovers in attendance seemed to enjoy the entirety of the evening, it was when a familiar female face popped in that they really erupted. Houten arranged for Colbie Caillat to perform her hit song, “Bubbly.” Watch the performance below.
Chase Rice was also on hand to perform alongside Houten at the weekend show. He performed “Eyes on You,” “Lonely If You Are,” “Ride,” “Forever to Go,” “Ready Set Roll” and “Cruise.” It was clear from the response that fans loved hearing him perform these familiar favorites.
Singer-songwriters Michael Whitworth and Drew Dickson also performed during the show.
