Canadian Pop Duo Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine Release Single to U.S.

Canadian pop duo, Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine, have crossed the border with their new single. “Ain’t Easy” was just released to American pop stations!

You probably haven’t heard of Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine yet but that’s about to change. The duo snagged the Best New Canadian Artist award at the iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards and now they’ve got a big debut. “Ain’t Easy” is their American debut through Big Machine Records.

“To have ‘Ain’t Easy’ cross the border feels amazing, as it brings us closer to our goal to connect with as many people as possible,” they explain. “We’re very excited to watch this single grow beyond Canada!”

The duo co-wrote this track alongside producer Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) as well as Camila Cabello, Zach Skelton and Tom Mann. The track has already topped the iTunes All-Genre chart and scored No. 1 on the Top 200 most Shazamed songs in Canada, garnering over 17 million streams to date. That’s pretty impressive and now they’re ready to take over the States.

Everything about “Ain’t Easy” sounds like a hit. It’s big, powerful and catchy. It’s what won them the Canadian reality competition, The Launch. Watch the duo perform the single below but be prepared to be blown away (and to have it stuck in your head for days).

EWxJF are a beautiful blend of emotional themes with unique musical styles. According to the release, they intentionally embrace and balance “their penchant for stylized pop and hip-hop culture.” They stay ahead of trends instead of following them while staying true to themselves. EWxJF strive to “bring full-sized moments and their kinetic energy to the forefront, one genre-defying hit at a time.”

We’re looking forward to lots more music from these two (and hopefully a Nashville tour date). Stay tuned to their website for news and download your own copy of “Ain’t Easy” by clicking on the single art below.
