Ever wanted to egg your dad — especially after all of those dad jokes? Now you can (without getting in trouble) thanks to this cocktail recipe.
To make this Smoke in the Henhouse cocktail, you need Farmers Hen House Eggs, mezcal, orange liquor, grapefruit juice, orange bitters and simple syrup. The lemon peel and orange zest are optional. This recipe makes two cocktails so there’s one for you and your pops.
Smoke in the Henhouse
2 Farmers Hen House egg whites
2 oz Mezcal
1 oz orange liquor (Cointreau or similar)
1 fresh squeezed grapefruit
4 dashes of orange bitters
1 oz of simple syrup
Combine all of the ingredients over ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Top with a lemon peel and orange zest (optional).
