It’s finally here! The total solar eclipse that we’ve been buzzing about for months happens today and we’ve got the perfect eclipse playlist for your viewing party.
It feels like we’ve been waiting for the total eclipse forever but it’s finally here. Nashville is extra lucky because we’re right in the path of totality for the eclipse and, according to NASA, we’ll witness “one of nature’s most awe inspiring sights.”
If you’re in the path “the moon will completely cover the sun and the sun’s tenuous atmosphere.” That path will stretch from Oregon all the way to South Carolina — and will obviously hit Music City. If you’re not sure where and how much of the eclipse you’ll see, there’s a map for you. All you have to do is type in your address.
While we’ll be busy at our own viewing party (with a Moon Pie or two), we had to create a Nashville Noise approved eclipse playlist. Although “Total Eclipse of the Heart” is on the playlist, you’ll find some more unique recommendations. Crank it up loud and enjoy this amazing event.
