Easter is this Sunday (April 4) and there’s a wide array of events and food specials happening throughout the city. Whether you’re looking for something family friendly or adults only, we’ve got something on this list for you. And don’t forget to share it with your friends and family!
Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt
Friendship Community Church is hosting this event on April 2. According to their website, it will be a “great time for guests with special needs and their siblings. On Friday, April 2 from 1-3 PM, come enjoy inflatables, games, egg hunts and more! Separate hunts will be provided for our friends in wheelchairs and who are visually impaired. All ages are welcome. This year’s event will be held at Charlie Daniels Park.”
Eggstravaganzoo at the Zoo
According to an email, “Nashville Zoo’s annual spring celebration will take place on April 3 with egg hunts and Easter fun for the whole family. With health and safety precautions in place, the Zoo will host 13 egg hunts in an area larger than ever before. Additional activities include keeper talks, animal encounters, and egg hunting for the Zoo’s animals throughout the day. Nashville Zoo is limiting attendance on April 3 so reservations are required for everyone, including members. The event is expected to sell out so guests are encouraged to reserve their entry time early. The Zoo also recommends that guests reserve their entry time at least an hour prior to their scheduled hunt.”
Easter at Hermitage Hotel
The Hermitage Hotel’s beautiful Veranda and historic Grand Ballroom will be open for Easter festivities. A classical pianist will create the ambiance for the three-course meal. Menu offerings include spring pea potage, confit halibut, stuffed lamb roulade, key lime pie and hummingbird cake. See the full menu here.
