Exclusive Premiere: The Dryes’ Beautifully Inspired ‘White Christmas’

"We hope you get all the feels around the holiday season and put this on your personal playlists."

Husband and wife country duo, The Dryes, are here to make your holidays a little brighter. We have the exclusive premiere of their version of the classic song, “White Christmas.”

It wouldn’t be the holiday season without Christmas music both new and old. “White Christmas” is a true classic and has been remade many times since its original release in 1954. It’s a holiday favorite and The Dryes’ new version is a standout, one we will listen to year after year. With their rendition, they relied on nostalgia to make the song feel like home for the holidays.

“Christmas itself is nostalgic, so we had to redo a classic because of that familiarity! We hope you get all the feels around the holiday season and put this on your personal playlists,” The Dryes say.

That’s enough talk. Listen to The Dryes’ “White Christmas” below.

If you’re not familiar with The Dryes, the couple duo released their debut single, “Amen,” earlier this year. The song is a fast-paced, catchy lead single that playfully tells the story of how Katelyn and Derek met.

Most recently, they released “War,” their newest single. The song aims to bring hope and healing to the darkness in the world. It comes from a very personal place for Derek, who lost his mother to suicide when he was just eight months old. More than 30 years later, he found home videos of his mother. This was the very first time he’d ever heard her voice or seen her in motion. When it came time for the duo to create their music video, they incorporated the home footage. Both the song and video have resonated with music lovers everywhere, it quickly gained plays on Spotify and views on YouTube.

Watch that video below and stay tuned for more from The Dryes.
