“Dolly Would” is The Dryes’ brand new 70s-style music video where they pay homage to the legendary Dolly Parton. The visual was directed by Sean Hagwell and it just may be our favorite video of 2021.
“We wanted to create a visual representation of the fun we feel when we think about Dolly,” Katelyn Drye says. “All types of people, home, country livin’ and sparkles.”
Derek Drye adds: “There may even be a surprise wig appearance!”
“Stylist Stephanie Carswell, Shane at Starstruck Vintage, and Aubrey Hyde absolutely made our ‘70s aesthetic come to life to mimic some of my favorite Dolly looks,” shares Katelyn. “Every outfit was custom altered and we even added fringe to Derek’s pearl snap. One day that yellow jumpsuit will be my Opry debut outfit.”
