Dierks Bentley‘s 2019 Burning Man Tour is coming! He just revealed the first leg of the tour with a stop right here in Nashville.
Bentley’s big tour kicks off Jan. 17 in Canada. It includes special guests Jon Pardi, Tenille Townes and Hot Country Knights. Hot Country Knights is Bentley’s 90s cover band. They made their debut back in 2015 at Country Radio Seminar. It’s not truly Bentley who takes the stage with the band but his mullet-wearing alter ego, Douglas “Big Rhythm Doug” Douglason.
“I talked to Jon Pardi last April about the idea of going back on the road together one last time and I am so happy that I can finally let our fans in on this,” Bentley said. “I’m still coming off the high of playing Hollywood Bowl and the last tour, but knowing that this Burning Man Tour with Pardi was out there waiting has been so awesome. We cannot wait to get back on the road!”
“Who we bring with us on tour is so important to the band, crew and me and the addition of Tenille Townes is something we are all stoked about. Our hardcore fans are aware of the 90s country cover band, the Hot Country Knights, who have been following us around and opening shows. They talked us into having them on the actual billing for this tour, hope their van has snow tires for Canada.”
The first leg of this tour is stacked with stops in Canada, Lexington, Columbus, Grand Rapids and even Nashville. His Bridgestone Arena show is set for Feb. 22 and comes after his sold-out headlining debut happened there in 2016.
Live Nation is the 2019 Burning Man Tour promoter and Citi will hold the pre-sale. Citi cardmembers will have access to the pre-sale starting on Oct. 31. For pre-sale details, head to their website.
