Deborah Allen to Bring Rockin’ Little Christmas to Franklin Theatre

Country singer Deborah Allen will bring her Christmas show, Rockin’ Little Christmas, to the Franklin Theatre this December.

Allen’s festive show will transform the theater into a winter wonderland on Dec. 15. The show is perfect for all ages and it includes a full band (with a horn section). She’ll pull out all the stops for what’s being dubbed her “most memorable Christmas show ever.”

“Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love it!” she gushes. “The twinkling lights, being with family and friends, the many acts of kindness, the joy in the children’s eyes on Christmas Day and celebrating the birth of Jesus makes the world a brighter place.”

Allen has written more than 1,600 songs for hundreds of artists including hits by LeAnn Rimes, Brooks & Dunn, Patty Loveless, Conway Twitty, Tanya Tucker, Diana Ross, Fleetwood Mac and more. She also became a solo success, charting songs like “I’ve Been Wrong Before,” “Rock Me,” “If You’re Not Gonna Love Me,” “Wrong Side of Love,” “Break These Chains” and more.

In addition to her success as a singer-songwriter, Deborah has also written a children’s book, The Loneliest Christmas Tree, and recently played a role in the movie The Least of These — A Christmas Story. That film stars G. Michael Nicolosi, Tayla Lynn and Duane Allen of the Oak Ridge Boys and it’s currently available on Amazon Prime Video. She didn’t just act in the movie, she also performed five songs on the soundtrack, three of which she wrote.
