Alt-Pop Band Dear Boy Announce ‘The Strawberry EP’

Los Angeles-based band Dear Boy are gearing up to release new music. The Strawberry EP has a March release and it promises to be a good listen.

We’ve been following this alt-pop band since we saw them open for Rogue Wave at Mercy Lounge. At the time, their single was “Love Interest” and it got a huge reaction from the Nashville crowd. Now, they’ve released the first taste of their new EP in the form of “Semester.” Check out the song below.

“Most of us have whole periods of our lives that are defined by one person,” the band’s vocalist and guitarist, Ben Grey, says of the new song. “And when that person leaves, returning to your normal life feels strange. Almost as if the world moved on behind your back.”

“Semester” is the opening track on The Strawberry EP. It will drop on March 1 via the band’s own label, Easy Hell and Burnside/The Orchard. It’s available for pre-order now for just $4.99! Pre-order your own copy by clicking on the album artwork below.
