The cast of Dancing with the Stars season 28 was revealed this morning on Good Morning America. The season premieres on Sept. 16 on ABC and, as always, the cast is a star-studded one.
Country music will be well represented with this year with Lauren Alaina on deck to compete. She’ll be joined by The Supremes’ Mary Wilson, supermodel Christie Brinkley, actor James Van Der Beek and Queer Eye‘s culture expert, Karamo Brown. Former NFL linebacker Ray Lewis, The Office‘s Kate Flannery, Lamar Odom, pop singer Ally Brooke, Kel Mitchell and Trump’s former press secretary, Sean Spicer, will also compete to win the Mirrorball Trophy.
Tom Bergeron was on the morning show to chat with contestants alongside Robin Roberts and Lara Spencer. He asked if any cast members had regrets about joining the show. Alaina raised her hands along with Flannery, Lewis and a timid Brinkley before all laughing.
Lewis, who was known for a victory dance dubbed, “The Squirrel,” got up and gave the viewers a taste of what they can expect from him during this season. If his football moves are any indication, he’s got some smooth moves coming.
