Coronavirus: War Memorial Auditorium + TPAC Close Through April 12

Amid growing Coronavirus concerns, TPAC has made a big decision. TPAC is closing Andrew Jackson Hall, James K. Polk Theater and War Memorial Auditorium through April 12.

“Our top priority is ensuring our audiences enjoy meaningful and safe experiences with the arts and protecting the health and well-being of our touring artists, volunteers, and employees,” a release reads. “We have determined that presenting these events may be dangerous to public health and safety. Closing our venues is the right action to prevent exposing our employees and the people we serve to health risks and to reduce the strain on our healthcare providers.”

If you have tickets for any of the affected performances, TPAC’s Box Office will contact you regarding that particular event’s status. TPAC is working hard to reschedule as many of these as they are able.

We’d also like to remind you that TPAC is a non-profit organization. Now is a great time to support them, if you’re able. Find out more about how you can do that here.

“TPAC is built on the unique power of the arts to bring people together. We look forward to welcoming you back to our venues when we can safely proceed with regular operations.”
