CMA Fest kicked off Thursday (June 6) here in Nashville and it was a jam-packed day! There were nearly 100 performances on 11 stages throughout Music City and fans came from far and wide to see their favorite artists perform.

Billy Currington kicked off the Chevy Riverfront Stage and he got the party started right! He performed hits including “People Are Crazy” and “Do I Make You Wanna.” Trisha Yearwood opened the CMA Close Up Stage. There was also a big party at Ascend with BBR Music Group’s Chase Rice and Randy Houser headlining.

Fans packed Nissan Stadium, where Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Brothers Osborne and Rascal Flatts were on the bill. The night wouldn’t have been complete without surprises, though. Brooks & Dunn, The Chainsmokers and Tanya Tucker showed up to collaborate on the Nissan Stadium stage.

That wasn’t all that Friday’s CMA Fest had in store for country music fans. Miranda Lambert also hosted her Mutt March for rescue pups.
