Watch Nashville Artist Chloé Meyer Discuss Local Mural + Wine Label Art

Nashville Noise chatted with local artist (and Nashville native) Chloé Meyer at the Beaujolais Nouveau release party. She chatted about her 20 foot mural at Nicky’s Coal Fired and about her art appearing on two Beaujolais Nouveau wines.

On Nov. 15, we attended the Beaujolais Nouveau release party at Nicky’s Coal Fired in The Nations. During the party, we sampled delicious French-inspired pizzas, tasty cheeses and, of course, wine. We tasted the 2018 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau and the new Beaujolais Nouveau Rosé (this is the first time they’ve released the rosé in the US). Meyer’s artwork appears on both bottles!

Not only did Meyer get to design the artwork for the bottles, she also created a giant mural outside of the restaurant. The mural is 20 feet and it allowed her to use beautiful colors and even some inspiration from right here in Nashville.

Watch the video above for the full interview and head to Meyer’s website to learn more about her beautiful artwork. Find out more about Georges Duboeuf wines here.
