We’re about to introduce you to kickass country singer, Chelsea Bain. She’s got a rockin’ edge with a country soul and that’s evident in “Shot of Whiskey.” The new song doesn’t drop until Friday (Sept. 6) but we’ve got the exclusive premiere a day early.
The new song starts out with a country vibe before the country singer kicks it up a notch. It’s a track about Bain being comfortable with exactly who she is — a message we love.
“‘Shot of Whiskey’ lays it all out there — says, ‘take it or leave it’ (mostly take it). I am who I am and if that’s not for you, then step aside,” she tells us of the song. “I had so much fun with the band tracking this song, getting to make it a little more rock musically and vocally made my soul happy. My advice: when you’re listening, turn it to eleven.”
