Cheekwood Harvest Returns for 2019 with Even More Pumpkins

Cheekwood is prepping for fall with their annual Cheekwood Harvest festival. This year, they’re adding a second life-sized Pumpkin House and patch.

Cheekwood Harvest starts on Sept. 21 and is at the botanical garden through Oct. 27. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season with your entire family. The festival is included with general admission or membership tickets. Check out highlights below and get your tickets through their website.

Festival Highlights

Pumpkin Houses + Patches
Step into pumpkin houses and experience them instead of just picking pumpkins. These life-sized houses are fun for everyone in your family!

Beer Garden
The beer garden includes live bluegrass music, pub food and beers on tap. It’s open Saturday, Sunday and Thursday evening during the festival. It opens Sept. 19.

Mum Explosion
The mum explosion includes more than 5,000 colorful chrysanthemums throughout the gardens. 

The Nashville community does this portion of Cheekwood Harvest every year. The scarecrows range from silly to frightening.

Special Events

5th Annual Japanese Moon Viewing – Sept. 22
he Japanese Moon Viewing event includes performances, activities and food reflecting the Japanese o-tsukimi (autumn moon-viewing tradition). 

Halloween Pooch Parade – Oct. 26
Bring your costumed pup to Cheekwood for their parade and enjoy a morning stroll around the garden.

20th Annual El Día de los Muertos – Nov. 2, 2019
Cheekwood brings the traditions of Mexico and Latin America to Nashville with El Día de los Muertos. It includes traditional music and dance, art and authentic food.
