Cheekwood is throwing its 12th annual garden party on June 23. Highballs, Hops and Hydrangeas doesn’t just have a new name, it has also a new look.
The garden party that was formerly known as Highballs and Hydrangeas has changed — for the better. Not only will it look new, but they have some additions. This year, there will be late night food service and a DJ! DJ Mindub will spin on the Holly Lawn (where the Cheekwood Beer Garden is) under a tent.
Come hungry, there are plenty of food options. Cooper Kettle, Yellow Porch, Wild Iris, Fleet Street Pub and Watermark will be serving food — just to name a few. Pizza Perfect will also be there for your late night munchies.
Hi-Wire Brewery is in charge of the hops at Highballs, Hops and Hydrangeas. If you don’t like beer, don’t worry. There will also be specialty cocktails.
The event will be a ton of fun but it will also raise money for Cheekwood’s gorgeous property. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. They can be purchased online at Cheekwood’s website.
