Cheekwood Announces 2019 Dates, Info for ‘Cheekwood in Bloom’

Spring is right around the corner which means it’s time for Cheekwood in Bloom! The 2019 spring festival will run seven days a week for the first time ever.

Thousands of visitors will head to Nashville’s botanical garden to experience spring right here in Music City. The annual festival runs from March 9 through April 7 and features 150,000 blooming bulbs through the gardens. There will also be five weekends of entertainment, programming and natural inspiration for visitors of all ages.

“Cheekwood in Bloom is one of the most magical times to be at Cheekwood, as tulips, daffodils and flowering trees spread color all throughout the gardens,” said Mary Weber, director of horticulture at Cheekwood. “With family-friendly weekend activities and the return of the Beer Garden, there is no better place to be to celebrate spring’s arrival.”

Sip on seasonal brews and cocktails in the beer garden and listen to live music every weekend of Cheekwood in Bloom.

Cheekwood is normally closed on Mondays but for this event, they’ll be open seven days a week! Cheekwood will also add plein air painting on the weekends for the first time.

The festival schedule is below but complete details are available on Cheekwood’s website.
