Cheap Trick are expanding their musical resume to include holiday tunes. On Oct. 20, the classic rock band will release Christmas Christmas.
This holiday news comes just a few months after the release of their latest album, We’re All Alright. The release of their 18th studio album wasn’t enough for the talented band. They got together with their longtime collaborator, Grammy Award-winning Julian Raymond, to create this 12-track Christmas album. Raymond has worked with the band for years but is also known for his work with Glen Campbell, Fleetwood Mac, Jennifer Nettles and Fastball.
The rock ‘n roll Christmas album includes holiday classics like “Silent Night,” but there are also originals. Christmas Christmas starts with “Merry Christmas Darlings,” their joyous new Christmas track. The album drops on Oct. 20 but is available now for pre-order. Their PledgeMusic Campaign also includes Christmas sweaters, holiday ornaments and more.
