East Nashville is getting a brand-new creative hub, which is open 24/7! Ceramic Souls, our first all-hours, pottery-only studio, is gearing up for a soft opening on April 1 inside the Highland Yards development.
This isn’t just another art studio; it’s a clay lover’s dream. Whether you’re a total newbie or a seasoned ceramicist, Ceramic Souls is bringing a fresh space for hands-on creativity, offering recurring adult and kids’ pottery classes, interactive workshops, and a tiered membership model that gives artists premium tools, equipment, and unlimited studio access (because inspiration doesn’t always strike between 9 and 5).
Founder Julia Ducayet left corporate America to bring this vision to life, creating a space for people to connect through clay. “I’m not a master potter, and I don’t have a degree in ceramics or decades of experience,” she says. “What I do have is a deep passion — for community, connection, growth, learning, and teaching.”
Here’s what’s coming up at Ceramic Souls:
📅 April 1: First wheel-throwing & hand-building class (10:30 a.m.)
🍷 April 11: Happy Hour: Intro to Wheel Class (6 p.m.)
🌸 April 12: Spring Fling & Clay Things Workshop
🔥 April 13: Glaze & Blaze: A 4/20 Pottery Workshop
