Carrie Underwood brought the party to Las Vegas on Sunday night. She performed her new single, “Southbound,” during the 2019 ACMs.
Underwood’s performance started — where else? — but poolside! With the sun shining and people soaking up its rays, it was the perfect place to kick off this (soon to be) summer anthem. If you watched closely, you might have even seen a poolside cameo from Maddie and Tae!
After a quick stroll to the poolside bar, Underwood waltzed her way through a tunnel to the ACM Awards. She danced and shimmed her way through the audience, even playfully posing for a selfie. Before hopping up on stage with some talented dancers, Underwood kissed her husband, Mike Fisher, on the lips.
Once on stage, the mom of two got down with her dancers dressed in casual summer gear. When she hit that last note, everyone posed on stage and she proudly smiled at a job well done.
