UPDATED: Carrie Underwood to ‘Flip the Switch’ at 10th Annual Opry Goes Pink

Carrie Underwood and the Grand Ole Opry are teaming up in the fight against breast cancer for the 10th annual Opry Goes Pink event.

On Oct. 26, Underwood will flip the switch on the Opry’s signature barn, turning it pink for the evening! The Opry member will perform on not one, but two shows that night. This is a special honor for her since she also flipped the switch on the inaugural Opry Goes Pink event back in 2009.

To make the event extra special, the Opry will have special Cry Pretty Opry Goes Pink packages. Packages will include tickets for the event, Underwood’s Cry Pretty album and a collectible print. When fans order the package or just tickets to the event, $5 will be donated to the fight against breast cancer.

UPDATE: Colbie Caillat was just announced as a performer during the evening. She’ll debut her new band, Gone West. The group consists of Caillat, singer-songwriter Jason Reeves, singer-songwriter Justin Kawika Young and Nelly Joy.

Ronnie Milsap and Anita Cochran (who has bravely battled breast cancer) are also on the bill for the event. Tegan Marie and comedienne Karen Mills will also perform and each are slated for both shows, with one at 7 PM and one at 9:30 PM.

Tickets and packages are available at the Grand Ole Opry’s website or by calling (800) SEE-OPRY.
