For night one of Nashville’s favorite songwriter’s festival, more than 80 songwriters hit the stage at 10 music venues. At the BMI Presents Rhett Akins and Friends show, the talented songwriter had a big surprise for the crowd. He brought out his son, TR, who took the microphone to play for an excited crowd.
At that same venue earlier in the night, Young showed up to join hit songwriters Ashley Gorley and Chris DeStefano. Prior to the surprise, the schedule described a “special guest artist” who turned out to be the BMLG recording artist.
LOCASH, Dustin Lynch, Jon Pardi and Morgan Evans were a few more standouts from the jam-packed first night on Tin Pan South. Check out photos below from the evening and stay tuned for lots more coverage from the songwriter’s festival.
