Brett Young Celebrates Success at Platinum Pool Party in Nashville

Brett Young celebrated four platinum singles and a platinum album on Wednesday. We celebrated with the California boy at a platinum pool party!

Big Machine Label Group staff, industry executives, friends, family and a few journalists showed up to the fancy pool party outside of Nashville. When we reached the pool via golf cart, we were given silver leis that really set the tone of the event. We then went straight for the outdoor bar, just outside of the pool. The bartenders served custom drinks and we were big fans of the frozen lemonade with Big Machine Vodka.

After the party really got started, we got to enjoy delicious catering from Peg Leg Porker. BBQ and macaroni and cheese were the perfect food for the event. Of course, there was dessert! The mini cupcakes were just sweet enough and they were sprinkled with platinum sparkles.

When everyone had finished eating, Scott Borchetta and Young took the stage. Borchetta spoke highly of Young’s talent and how far he’d come and then Young performed a few songs with the very talented Dan Huff. He played his singles before giving us a sneak peek at the music that’s to come. Everyone was silent as his forthcoming single filled the air. Afterward, people couldn’t wait to tell him how much they loved the new song, “Here Tonight,” from his upcoming sophomore album.

“It was surreal being back where I first signed my record deal and seeing how much has happened since then,” he said. “It’s crazy to think just three years ago I was in the same place just getting started with my team. I wrote this album from such a vulnerable and honest place, so it means the world that these songs have connected with people the way they have. The time has flown by, and I can’t wait to share the new music with fans soon.”

All in all, we had a wonderful time and Young was the most gracious host.

Stay tuned for news about Young’s upcoming single, and new album, but be warned. They won’t be dropping the new song until “Mercy” goes number one.
