Brett Young teamed up with Hilton Honors as part of their 2019 Hilton Honors concert series on Sept. 12. He put on an intimate show full of love songs at the Country Music Hall of Fame. We felt very lucky to be invited.
From start to finish, Young had the CMHOF crowd feeling that same way — lucky and in love with the country singer’s star power. He kicked things off with “Catch,” which he released earlier this summer. He followed that up with “Used to Missing You” before getting to our favorite, “Like I Loved You.” The audience slow danced and sipped on wines as Young serenaded them.
A surprising part of the show came when Young took on a few covers, and samples of covers. He brilliantly performed Gavin DeGraw’s “Not Over You,” a definite standout.
The California native’s set also included “Sleep Without You,” “In Case You Didn’t Know,” “Not Over You” and “Here Tonight.”
This intimate show was one of six for the series, which was curated specifically for Hilton Honors members by Live Nation. They curated the shows based on members’ music interests, artist preferences and the places they love to visit.
