They’re back! Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are returning to host the 52nd CMA Awards on Nov. 14.
The 2018 award show happens mid-November right here in Music City. The show air lives at 7 PM from Bridgestone Arena. This is their 11th time hosting Country Music’s Biggest Night.
Luke Bryan, Dan + Shay and Sugarland will reveal several of the final nominees on Aug. 28. They’ll do so on Good Morning America live from Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink, Bryan’s brand-new restaurant and bar in downtown Nashville. Nominees in certain categories will be revealed on the morning show and will be available via live stream on ABC.
After the show, the rest of the categories will be revealed on GMA’s website, Facebook page and YouTube channel. Following that, CMA will release and post the entirety of the categories on the official CMA Awards page.
The CMA Awards nominees and winners are determined by members of CMA, the first trade organization formed to promote music in 1958. This is their 60th year as an organization. The first show was held in 1967 and the next year, it was broadcast on TV for the very firs time. The show is the longest running, annual music awards program on network TV.
