David Bowie fans will want to mark their calendars for March 13. That’s when A Bowie Celebration comes to Nashville’s TPAC.
A Bowie Celebration: The David Bowie Alumni Tour features Mike Garson and other important musicians from Bowie’s bands over the decades. Garson was the keyboardist, bandleaders and the long-standing member of Bowie’s bands. He performed with Bowie at more than 1,000 concerts together across the globe, including his first and last here in the States.
The show also features other alumni band members including Earl Slick, the legendary guitarist who worked with Bowie on some epic albums. Bowie’s guitarist and bandleader, Gerry Leonard, and Bowie’s guitarist and bandleader Gerry Leonard. Bowie’s Let’s Dance/Serious Moonlight Tour bassist Carmine Rojas will also be on hand. Vocalists including Bernard Fowler and Corey Glover and drummer Lee John will also perform for this one-night only show. They’ll perform a mix of Bowie’s hits and deep cuts. Between them, they have over 30 years experience of recording, writing and playing live with Bowie.
Tickets are on sale now at TPAC.org, by phone at (615) 782-4040 and at the TPAC Box Office. Tickets start at $29.50 but there are also packages available. There are meet and greet packages as well as VIP packages. Get a preview of the show below.
