Betty Buckley to Star in ‘Hello, Dolly!’ at Nashville’s TPAC

Tony Award-winning Broadway legend, Betty Buckley, is coming to Nashville. She’ll star in the first national tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival, Hello, Dolly! The show comes to TPAC from April 30 through May 5.

Hello, Dolly! officially opened on Broadway on April 20, 2017. It broke the record for the best first day of ticket sales in Broadway ticket sales and shattered The Shubert Organization’s all-time record 10 times. The musical ended its historic Broadway run on August 25, 2018. Now, it’s back for a nation-wide tour and it’s coming to Music City.

This production pays tribute to the original work of legendary directory and choreographer, Gower Champion. Four-time Tony Award-winning director, Jerry Zacks, leads the show while Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle choreographs it. The entire creative team of the Broadway production will reprise their roles for this national tour. That includes: four-time Tony Award winner Santo Loquasto (Scenic and Costume Design), six-time Tony Award winner Natasha Katz (Lighting Design), Tony Award winner Scott Lehrer (Sound Design), Andy Einhorn (Music Direction), Tony Award winner Larry Hochman (Orchestrations), Tony Award winner Don Pippin (Vocal Arrangements), David Chase (Dance Arrangements) and Telsey + Company (Casting).

Basically, this is a show you do not want to miss.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 8 at 10 AM on TPAC’s website. They’re also available by calling (615) 782-4040 or by visiting TPAC’s box office in downtown Nashville. For more information, visit the production’s official website.
