Backstreet Boys Release New Single, ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’

Backstreet’s back, alright! BSB took to social media on Monday to make a big announcement. Their new single, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” is out now — and it’s a jam.

The Backstreet Boys couldn’t help but make a silly joke when they announced their next single. “Excuse the dad joke but… we’re back 😉,” they wrote on social media with the single artwork. “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” is out now and we already want to call it a hit. It’s catchy and infectious and it will make you feel all kinds of ways. Listen to the single below and scroll all the way to the bottom to see the new visual for the song.

After Backstreet Boys made the announcement that the single was coming earlier this week, fans went wild. Within 15 minutes of the announcement, BSB diehard fans couldn’t help but share their excitement. On Instagram alone, they’d received more than 9,000 likes and a ton of comments. One fan wrote, “OMG! I’m ready! I’m ready… Oh Lord, I’m NOT ready!” with several excited emojis. Another said, “OMGosh is this real life? Is this really happening?!”

Backstreet Boys shared their new album artwork along with the news with their name in a computer font and the song title in a smaller red font. The band posed on black and white cubes looking very serious. None of them smiled in the image (but, of course, they all looked good). Nick Carter donned a retro jacket and hightops, Brian Littrell went with a leather jacket and hat while A.J. McLean looked more hipster in cropped pants and a floral shirt. Howie Dorough and Kevin Richardson looked sporty in the picture with Dorough in a denim jacket and Richardson in red joggers.

Although we have yet to hear the new track, a popular BSB fan site had a little intel. They predicted the single saying the song had already been played for iHeartRadio and fans who listened to the Twitter Q&A got a teeny, tiny preview of it.

Now the single is out for the world and it’s already been trending on Twitter — worldwide! Along with the song, Backstreet Boys released the new music video for the track which you can watch below. Ready to purchase the catchy single? Click on the single art below and download your own copy.
