Oh Boy Records has announced Live At The Burl, the upcoming live album from singer-songwriter Arlo McKinley. The album is set for release on May 9.
Recorded in May 2024 at The Burl, the album captures McKinley in a rare, intimate form. Surrounded by longtime fans and backed by the energy of a decade on the road, the performances marked the 10-year anniversary of his debut release, Arlo McKinley & The Lonesome Sound.
“This album was recorded over two sold-out nights at The Burl in Lexington, KY,” says McKinley. “It was a celebration for the 10th anniversary of my first album. I wanted something to give back to my amazing fans who have been with me since day one. Big thanks to The Burl for having me and all the people who sang along and made the nights special.”
To celebrate the announcement, McKinley has released two tracks, “This Damn Town” and “Waiting For Wild Horses,” which are now available to stream. These songs offer an early glimpse at the emotional weight and musical richness of the full record.
Live At The Burl features a dynamic setlist that spans McKinley’s entire catalog, including fan favorites and deeper cuts. The live setting brings new depth to the songs, shaped by years of growth, heartbreak, and connection with his audience.
