Arctic Monkeys Announce ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ Album

Arctic Monkeys are gearing up to release their sixth studio album — and to play a Nashville show. Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino drops in May and the band will play Ascend Amphitheater in June.

Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino drops on May 11 and fans are anxiously awaiting the release. The 11-track album was produced by James Ford and Alex Turner and it was recorded all over the world. The band recorded tracks in Los Angeles, Paris and London!

This is Arctic Monkey’s first studio album since 2013 when they released AM. That album was met with critical reception and included the super catchy single, “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?” With this new release, they’re continuing to explore and expand their sound and it’s being described as big and bold.

Just a month after this new album drops, the band will take the stage right here in Music City. Arctic Monkeys will play Ascend Amphitheater on June 18. Currently on lawn seats are available through Live Nation for $39.50 plus fees. A full list of Arctic Monkeys’ headlining dates and festival dates are available on their website.
