Sylvan Park is getting a new hangout spot, and it’s shaping up to be the kind of place you’ll want to claim as your second home. Opening in spring 2026, Antoinette’s Wine Social will blend the charm of a Southern supper club with an approachable wine experience inside a lovingly restored 1930s home.
The idea comes from founder Lauren Maranto, who grew up on the Alabama Gulf Coast watching her mother host monthly supper clubs and parties. That inspiration stuck with her.
“Growing up on the Alabama Gulf Coast, I was enchanted by the monthly supper clubs and parties my mother hosted,” Maranto explains. “Those gatherings instilled in me a deep-rooted passion for hospitality and connection that inspired me to build a second career in wine and start my own supper club with friends. At Antoinette’s, I get to recreate that magic of a shared evening with friends over good food and great wine for everyone, from the serious wine nerd to the person who just wants to unwind from the day.”
Antoinette’s is equal parts wine bar and bodega, giving guests the freedom to stay for a glass, grab something to-go, or both. The retail area will feature bottles under $50 (plus a small reserve list), along with snacks from local makers. The wine bar side will serve shared plates and an inviting menu of wine, beer, THC beverages, N/A picks, and spirit-free wine cocktails.
Out back, the nearly half-acre fenced lawn is set to be a neighborhood favorite. Expect shaded picnic tables, a Montessori-inspired play area for kids, and a small stage for regular live music under string lights. It’s all designed to feel like a friend’s backyard… if that friend had impeccable taste in wine.
With a strong emphasis on Italian varietals, orange wines, natural picks, and beloved classics from around the world, Antoinette’s is fully committed to keeping things delicious but never pretentious. Glasses will range from $8–$10, and the team plans to host tastings, workshops, chef collabs, and community events.
