Andy Grammer Goes Undercover to Surprise Fans in This Feel-Good Video

Andy Grammer went undercover with SoulPancake to surprise some fans. He picked them up for a feel-good ride and chatted with them about what it means to be a ride or die.

In this feel-good four-minute video, Grammer goes undercover as a driver and picks up unsuspecting fans. Some scream, some cry and some smile from ear to ear when they realize it’s the “Honey, I’m Good.” singer. The video was inspired by Grammer’s most recent single, “Smoke Clears.”

“So my song, ‘Smoke Clears,’ is extremely autobiographical. It’s about me and my wife being there for each other through some of the toughest times,” he explains in the visual. “And so this song is about riding the highs and lows with your ride or die.”

Some fans mention lifelong friends as their ride or dies and others mention family members. One girl says her sister is definitely her ride or die because she helped her battle Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at 14 years old. Another had a friend there for her after heart surgery.

Some of these stories will touch your heart and others will bring a smile to your face. Check it all out in the four-minute visual below. Don’t forget to check out Grammer’s new song, “Smoke Clears,” from his album, The Good Parts.
