Believe it or not, this season of American Idol is almost over. The finale airs live on ABC on Sunday (May 19) starting at 7 PM. Alejandro Aranda, Laine Hardy and Madison VanDenburg are the Top 3 and one will ultimately walk away as the winner. Although we’re all waiting to see who America votes for, there’s a list of performers that will make the finale a must watch.
Adam Lambert will perform with Idol contestant, Dimitrius Graham. Dan + Shay will sing with Top 3 contestant, VanDenburg. They’re also bringing a whole new meaning to “Party with a Hardy.” It’s now “Pardi with a Hardy” because Jon Pardi will perform with Top 3 contestant, Hardy.
Kane Brown‘s performing during the finale with Idol contestant, Alyssa Raghu. Kool & the Gang with contestant, Uché, is sure to be an energetic performance. Weezer will join forces with contestants, Wade Cota and Walker Burroughs.
Other performers include Montell Jordan, some of the show’s viral contestants and Top 40 contestant Shayy. Shayy will perform with a surprise guest (any guesses?!). All three Idol judges will also perform during the evening. Luke Bryan will perform his song, “Knockin’ Boots,” with Laci Kaye Booth, Lionel Richie will perform with the Top 10 and Katy Perry will sing with Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon.
Underwood will also make her return to the American Idol stage.
