Coti Howell for Nashville Noise

If you love Italian sandwiches, All’Antico Vinaio in Nashville is a must-try. I recently stopped by their Midtown location and was blown away by the creativity and flavor packed into each sandwich. (The service was fantastic too. Thanks, Million!)

We got two sandwiches to try different flavors, so we settled on two recommendations, the Nashville Hot and the La Paradiso. Nashville Hot is made for Nashville. It’s spicy, savory, and totally satisfying without being too much. If you like a little heat, this one hits all the right notes. Then there’s the La Paradiso, which completely stole my heart: silky mortadella, creamy stracciatella, and pistachio cream with a sprinkle of pistachios. It’s light, refreshing, and unlike anything else I’ve had in town. I didn’t even know if I liked pistachios, but I definitely like them in this way.

Although two sandwiches were definitely enough, we also ended up sampling the La Dante, with capocollo, stracchino, truffle cream, and arugula. Even as a smaller taste, it was packed with bold, balanced flavors.

What I love most about All’Antico Vinaio is how every sandwich feels special without being pretentious. The ingredients are high-quality, the flavor combinations are unique, and you can tell they really care about what they’re serving. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to try everything on the menu. One visit just isn’t enough.

If you’re a sandwich lover, this place is worth a stop. Trust me. You’ll be thinking about the La Paradiso long after your last bite.
