Country singer Ali Morgan just released the beautiful lyric video for “Highway 57” and we have the exclusive premiere. Watch the full lyric video above.
You may not be familiar with the 14-year-old talent but you will be. She’s a singer-songwriter that’s ready to make her mark on country music. Morgan started making that mark with her debut single, “Crazy,” and is continuing with this new song, “Highway 57.”
This lyric video is a gorgeous visual for a catchy song that, according to the singer, tells her own story.
“This one is very personal for me,” she shared. “These lyrics are literally my story. From my family packing up their entire life and relocating so I could follow my dreams to the actual highway we take between Chicago and Nashville. I’ll be forever grateful to them for that. My momma still gets teary every time she hears it played.”
The lyrics to this personal song appear across the screen in front of Highway 57 — an empty road with a gorgeous pink and purple sky above.
“Little body, big dreams. Am I ready to leave?” she sings in the new track. “I know, I know, I know I’m a little young, a little dumb but ready to take care of some, my own, my own, my own responsibilities. I’ve got some big dreams. I’m showing you the real me.“
